Wagga Council Local Environment Study
Willana was successful out of 5 tender applications, & commissioned by Wagga Wagga City Council to undertake a Local Environmental Study (LES) for a potential urban release of over 350 hectares. The "Lloyd Neighbourhood" to the south west of Wagga Wagga will accommodate the City's growth over the Next five to 10 years, having potential for over 3000 residential dwellings.
Willana were selected due to a demonstrated ability to complete all of the requirements of the complex brief while offering value for service. We were able to demonstrate the ability to project manage the process as well as provide "in house" skills. Willana assembled a team of specialists to undertake research tasks related to the environment. land capability, archaeology, infrastructure, social and market factors.
Consultation with the community and Government agencies was considered a vital component of the projects success. Willana maintained an informal open communication with Council and the numerous stakeholders.
