Bombo Quarry Structure Plan
Willana prepared a future land use strategy for 114 hectares of land owned by Railcorp NSW and Boral in Bombo on the NSW south coast.
Willana engaged and coordinated relevant specialist consultants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the site’s and surrounding area’s physical, social and economic attributes. The results of the study were disseminated by Willana and used to generate a physical Structure Plan which included land uses, transport infrastructure, residential densities and an urban design theme relevant to the locality.
Key features of the project were the preparation of a Structure Plan which demonstrated economic feasibility and implemented proven planning principles within a short time frame.
