Willana was chosen from a short list of consultants to assess development applications during periods when workloads exceed councils resources or where council had a pecuniary or other interest. Willana was also chosen to represent Council as expert witness in the land and environment court.
Portico Plaza
Holroyd Council commissioned Willana to complete the assessment of a commercial, retail and residential development in Toongabbie. The proposal included three residential buildings ranging from 5 to 6 storeys, 3 levels of basement parking and 2 levels of retail / commercial outlets. The assessment process included community consultation and liaison with council and the public.
Holroyd Gardens
Assessment of 3 major development applications for the construction of 5 high density residential flat buildings over 7 allotments. Meetings with Council and the applicant, site visits and the preparation of comprehensive assessment reports were undertaken as part of the brief.
